More bad news.
As I have asked for my decision to be looked at again, I received a text stating that they would look at the decision again and contact me within 6 weeks.
That was on 5th of July.
Now they have stopped my husbands carers allowance for me altogether without a letter or any communication at all.
Not good at all.
I have a doctors appointment on Friday, so I will be asking him for help.

Your carers Allowance would have been stopped because you no longer meet the criteria, once you sort out your PIP care component, it should be re- instated.

Not too well.
The reconsideration went in their favour.
They also said I was receiving moderate amounts of medication and have good upper and lower strength, so I am now in the process of appealing to the Tribunal. They tell lies and I know that they have not contacted my doctor at all for my medical records.

Hi, have you phoned carers allowance, as you might (I’m really unsure of the rules here) you might be allowed a ‘run on’ especially if they know you are in the processs of fighting decision...might be worth an ask
