Gross Lung Pathology HERICIUM !

Anyone got any IDEA 💡 what this is ON two occasions I have coughed this up.

Could it be lung tissue ... a seed ... or fungus spur.

Have tried searching my self and only thing could find IS Hericium !

Clearly I would show my doctors but the totally NOT intrested.

Hi JAS and you're quite right, its not a pretty specimen by accounts,is it. Your Doctors are very wrong in showing no interest in your findings. Wish more Doctors actually listened to their patients.

Defo agree there ANYWAY am hoping it’s just TAD alveolar.

If not that AM hoping it’s a lung mop I.e surfactant secreting alveolar cell but might be tad to big

But don’t think it’s ahedar macrophage SO to put my mind at rest going to say it’s tad lung gas exchange stuff

It's a common rag weed pollen grain nothing more . Very typical in this weather and nothing to do with any lung condition
