Well thanks to Stone have finally figured how to add a photo. This is me with my daughter who took me to Jodrell Bank for my birthday on 3rd July (66 this year) , cant believe we walked the 2 1/2 miles from Goostrey train station, seemed longer on the way back.

Thank you Stumpy, felt everyone of my 66 years when I sat down to a lager and lime after that 5 mile trek ha!

Lovely photo. My present husband Alan took me there when we were courting, in 2009. There's a lovely wood in the grounds of the observatory as well as all the scientific displays.

Thank you Ergendl, I know , it's a lovely area and a place I wanted to visit but somehow never did. I would imagine in 2009 it looked good x
