Hi, Vonni. I've got COPD and asthma, and because I have little mucus, I've probably got the emphysema component of COPD rather than chronic bronchitis. I find singing and doing singing exercises really helpful in teaching me how to control all the muscles and the diaphragm which control my breathing.
You could also ask your GP to refer you to a Pulmonary Rehab course, where you would find out a lot more about living well with your condition and how to exercise and breathe better. I did a course about 6 months after diagnosis, and it really made a difference to my life.
I'm sorry I've only just seen your response, I had previously done the rehab course
I think the weather and also the anxiety and panic attacks was probably making everything much worse, I've been struggling again with the cold I need spring and Autumn 🍂
