Doctor has put me on Trimethoprim 200mg 6 tablets for urine infection.. anyone tried these? Over never had these tablets so I’m freaking out to take them ..

It is an antibiotic used for water infections such as cystitis. Side effect are usually mild and short lived.

I have taken them several times over the years for cystitis nothing seems to clear it apart from trimethoprim. Marvellous antibiotic In two days you will be rid of the burning sensation when going to the loo. Get better soon.

I had them before but 3 days I think. Effective but gave me candida, take prevention if you are inclined

Yes just finished a 3 day supply for cystitis. Feeling a lot better. Majt

Trimethoprim triggered my migraines. It's one of the first in now a long list of meds I can't take due to side effects.
