My daughter found a young kitten for me who is now being fostered. I am on oxygen about 20 houts a day and have a concentrator and 57 feet of tubing. She advises me to wrap the tube in electrical tape so the kitten won't bite through it. This doesn't sound feasible to me. What do other people do? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I wouldn't advise wrapping any kind of tape around the oxygen tubing. Please check with your respiratory team or doctor.
Sorry, I am in the US and don't have a respiratory team. I just told my daughter no.
Wrap the cat in tape i have a mischievous cat but thankfully it doesn't chew my tubing so maybe your daughter is being a little over cautious.perhaps introduce the kitten to a toy of it's own as a distraction...........Ski's and a tube free cat x
Greetings
Tiny teeth aren't a problem with my tubing (I've got two black kitties). Actually, I let them chase it and play with it. Periodically, they try to have a chew but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the tubes. My biggest problem is our Labrador, who stands on my tubing when I'm walking: that brings me to a sudden halt. My ears come down, my nose goes up and Mag is required to move his big feet. The joys of animals :). Enjoy your kitten!
