Well I have batting copd Dr told me about 10 years stop smoking, but I didn't listen I'm 45, they to me right lung is dead and have 12 left lung on oxygen been December. Just trying to figure out my way. News support plz

Hello there and welcome to the forum. Have you stopped smoking now? If not that needs to be your priority.

'm trying to not use the excuse but I'm going through a nasty situation with I need a divorce she's sneak and run around and I'm as sick as I am we have three year old son she's leaving me with he she won't be one of my support groups caregivers all she does is make me more miserable

Yes specially hard to know I've got to have a lung transplant if I don't get the transplant I'm going to die and life afterwards to link of it is Ken Berry but isn't long

You won't be considered for a lung transplant unless you stop smoking. You know what you have to do. It won't be easy so seek help from your doctor with giving up the cigarettes and get on with it.

If you continue smoking you will not be considered for oxygen supplied by the nhs

You can be ok and begin to heal. The body is an amazing thing

When I was diagnosed 6 years ago with COPD Bronciatacesis, I was scares too.

I find great support and comfort in talking and sharing with others in my situation.

Quiting smoking is hard but you can do it! Best of luck to you.
