The consultant said yesterday i should be on oxygrn 24 hrs, i have been doing 6am to 9pm. This means i have to get my simply go concentrator up and down. This is really exhausting, would some sort of wheeled trolley help? I am amazed i managed to sleep with that racket going on and pipe up my nose!

Getting concentrator upstairs.
Speak to your respiratory nurse who should be able to order you a static concentrator with enough tubing to reach both floors, leaving your portable for trips out. (I leave mine downstairs to aid with quieter sleep.)
Hi
Speak to respitory nurse, they will either ask for second concentrator, or you can have a piped in system, you then just simply switch from down to upstairs. Or reposition your current concentrator so tubing will reach up/ down stairs.
The piped system is much better, you can have a switch in each room, meaning shorter tubing.
There should be no need to attempt to carry a fixed concentrator up and down stairs.
There is transportable unit if it meets your needs, comes on its own wheels.
Still not really acceptable for you to have to carry up/down stairs.
Mrs Mummy is Correct, I too have plenty of tubing for around the Bungalow(no Stairs)my concentrator is in my spare Bedroom with the Door closed so don't hear it too much. I use my Mobile for outside, shopping etc, Good Luck. xxx
Hi there, I have been given 2 concentrators. I have a portable one downstairs and a static one upstairs. I have the static one on the landing and when I close my bedroom door I can barely hear it. I hope you get sorted soon.
