Hi Dave, were they expensive? Sometimes cheaper towels shed bits for a long time even after washing. It can depend on the quality.

Take care xxxx

Hello Dave.

That is odd, especially if they are brand new. I think what Sassy says makes sense. I am not sure why they would be shedding bits. 😕 Maybe after a few washes, they will stop? xx 🌷🌸

Try tumbledrying them, that usually removes excess fluff and boys from fabrics

😁!

Recently brought a towelling robe for use after getting out of the shower, my wife washed it and put in the tumble dryer last week, as normal after every use she cleans for fluff catcher and wow the amount that was in there was unbelievable. So please if you tumble dry them, then clean for filter, and yes we have one of those dryers that caught fire. We have had it checked early last year because we told them we have oxygen in the house so was made a priority call.

Just keep washing them as they need it, Dave, and the bits will get less and less, until almost none appear.

Good luck!
