Copd

Hi my name is Linda and I have had Copd for 16 years now but has got a lot worse since I had bladder cancer in 2014.I am a smoker but have cut down a lot and hopefully will be able to stop altogether soon. I had mild flare up in September and on to do my second rehab, which had to be stopped after a few weeks to cut it short I had blood tests and a x-ray and have now been called in In for a CT scan but what is worrying me is that it in the new cancer unit at Guys hospital this is the hospital that I am under anyway and have had many CT scan before for my chest but in the main hospital sorry this is so long look forward to hearing from you Linda

Hello Lindabu and welcome. My local hospital has only the one scanner so we all have to go to the cancer unit for a scan, whatever our condition. Keep fighting those cigarettes.

Thanks to you and for your support I was just a bit worried as the hospital has CT scan in the main hospital which are the ones I would normally use. Its a first for the cancer unit I didn't go there for my bladder cancer I'm sure I am worrying about it nothing you have been a great help
