My Pulmonologist’s would like to remove the lower lobe of my left lung. I have alpha1 anti-trypsin def and factor V Leiden. It has caused emphysema, copd, bronchiestasis, atelectasis and chronic blood clots - the left lower lobe being the worst and now with Mac pneumonia. I was diagnosed 3 years ago and now on 3L O2 constantly. Had anyone had this surgery and would be willing to share their results?
