Well folks I did it! What an amazing experience. I was a little bit scared to start with when they told us we were on the new ride which is higher, longer and faster up too 120mph! I don't know how fast I went but it was very cold!!! Anyhow I've raised £400 for the British Lung Foundation so I'm feeling very proud and satisfied although my lungs are a bit achey! We are in Chester now for a little overnight treat! Thank you everyone for your good wishes!

Crikey, Judith, IMPRESSIVE!! Well done! How brave. We live not too far from the zip wire but would never never venture onto it myself 😱 Funnily enough, I was in Chester last night too 🙋🏼♀️
What a fantastic achievement, well done, you are so brave, and to raise all that for B L F too, amazing. You have my utmost respect. 👏👏👏 now have a well deserved 🍷and relax until your next challenge. X
Well done. I did it 3 years ago and loved it and since I was diagnosed with copd want to try lots of exciting things. My greatest fear is a tandem parachute jump , which I would do for charity and i’m Interested in finding out more about your experience. What was it like? Xx
Hi, it was a great experience and one is highly recommend! I did mine in Lancashire and o was blessed with the most beautiful weather. Not a cloud in the sky. My tandem partner made me feel very much at ease and although I was nervous I was also determined....i can be a stubborn person at times! I guess the scariest part is when you are an out to leave the plane because your tandem person is actually sitting on the deck and I was dangling in mid air. The adrenalin rush is amazing and then after the freefall and the chute goes up it is so quiet! I loved it and I'm sure if you enjoyed the zip wire you'll love a parachute jump! I just want to do as many exciting things as I can while I can. If you decide to do it let me know and I'll cheer you on! X
Thank you Judith, I feel exactly the same as you do, I want to push myself and try everything. That is the only good thing that’s come out of this diagnosis. Keep letting me know what you get up to, I’d love some new ideas.
