Trapped wind (i think)

hi, just wondered if anybody else has this. Have crampy pains in the middle of my left side, occasionally, after the cramp comes a gurgling in my tummy and bubbly feeling. Then that's that until next cramp.... Trapped wind??? feel fine and it might be happening because my mind is on it if you know what i mean.....

It definitely sounds like trapped wind.

I get those symptoms myself, when my IBS flares up, usually when I'm stressed.

Although, I was only diagnosed by the Docter, not a test. He prescribes Boscoban for it. xx

Yes, I get it very regularly. Mine is in centre of chest and through to the back. Really bad pains until I actually burp. Makes you feel sorry for babies when they cry because they have it if its anything like that

I use bisodol, it works for indigestion and trapped wind available at most places that sell things like rennies.Another cheap remedy is charcoal tablets from herbal shops or chemists.Hope you find a remedy that suits.

I have the same occasionally and just use a soft fist to gently but firmly knead my side where it hurts usually just under left rib cage in a sort of circular motion (or whatever feels right to you) and this usually eases it and moves any trapped wind enough to ease the pressure and feel comfortable again. No need for meds just a bit of massage - hope it works worth a try. xxx
