Hello everyone, anyone who has read my posts know I headed back to work on Monday, that's lasted 2 days and was at the doctor's Wednesday.
Breathlessness kicked back in along with some awful chest pains and shakiness.
Doctor said it's muscularskeletol and acid in my stomach. He's prescribed lansoprazole for me which I've now taken 3 daily doses and it's having no affect as of yet.
I'm constantly shivering but not with cold and my mouth is constantly dry and wondering if everything is just anxiety related.
I was looking forward to work and really enjoyed the 2 days I was in and don't want to lose my job through illness.
I'm very confused and don't know what to do, any words of wisdom will be very much appreciated.
Thanks for reading and enjoy your day.

Thanks for the reply, I did tell the dr that I'm a bit stressed, he said come back after the course of lansoprazole (4 weeks) if the stomach issues arnt any better. I've found I need to be occupied with anything or I think about things a little too much and every pain and breath feels 100 times worse.
Anxiety plays a huge roll in all aspects of life, it’s best to learn coping skills to deal with it medication sometimes helps but you must remember medication has side affects. I deal with my anxiety by focusing on my breathing in for a 4 count hold for a 4 count exhale for a 4 count...
Thank you for replying, I've been watching\listening to some things on YouTube and found that does help massivly, also laying on my side seems to ease most of the pains which then stops me panicking about them. I just want to get back into work after 3 months off, I've been put on phased return but everyone said I've done way too much when I was in. Perhaps that's got me anxious as well, as a manager I feel I have to set an example but I know my colleagues want me back to my old self. Wow I go on lol
Anxiety attacks are horrible, I’ve been there. As you’ve been checked over by the gp, and you enjoyed your 2 days at work, maybe you should try & carry on? It’s a distraction from your problems, & you’ll be with other people, instead of sitting at home worrying & risking losing a job you like.
I've actually got a week's holiday now, boss insisted I take it, got a few appointments in to get me out of the house and made sure I didn't do a big shop so I've no excuse for not going out lol. The one thing I need to do is eat as I lost over a stone whilst off. Nurse told me to stuff my face with all the things that are normally bad for us, I think I took a liking to her there and then.
Hello Keith
I don’t know about being shivering and having a dry mouth being related to stress. Some meds can cause those problems..and/or some medical conditions.
And those chest pains?.. I would ask to see a respiratory specialist and a cardiologist..
Hi keith9876, as someone who suffered horrid panic attacks for years...you explain the feelings well, as I have experienced most all of them. According to my therapist,( oh, I miss her.) If I may, what helped me very much and it was something I could pick up and read again and again was "Help and Hope for Your Nerves" by Claire Weekes...she is the author of quite a few books on anxiety and panic....nerves. This is hoping you've had a recent health check up, too.
Yes, they have. I had Panic Attacks, everyday, many times a day for a long time, probably about 20 years, really. I started to just let them happen not fight against them as Claire Weekes said and they just went away....I truly was fearful of fear......
I'm really pleased for you.My anxiety better than it was but still rears its ugly head now and again like today I've felt shakes and anxious about virtually everything.hoping it will pass!love Sandyx
It will, it will! Everyone feels some anxiety from time to time...we just can't let it get the best of us.
Hope to hear from you again!!
It's a really beautiful here today, bright blue sky, puffy white clouds...I'm going to go out and enjoy it, and see what spring flowers are starting to come up.
