Can anybody explain “small nodule in right middle lobe medial segment” means?

medial Segment think is same as fissure I.e segment of lung.

Nodule could be something or nothing ALL depends on shape and size what future action is taken.

Like I say could be something or nothing.

Your doctor would be best placed to describe tell you what they found.

Most nodules turn out to be nothing and some even resolve on there own.

Oh ok ,my doc also trying his best to understand my condition and he told diagnostic Center people to give my whole HRCT in a Compact Disc(CD) to study briefly.Thakyou for taking time to explain me...

Is good getting CD in UK we have no chance AND lucky if doctors even look at basic X-ray these days.

I tried getting my CD but is property of NHS.

Think jiblet bits will be measured so don’t think need much studying.

Hope all go’s well and nodule turns out to be nothing for you to worry about.

Again I am fortunate as I am able to get the CDs complete with the reader so I can look through it myself (no idea what I am looking at but can spot the major problems) My doctor is also very forthcoming and will explain the issues she sees and points them out on the screen. Sometimes it is frustrating to be left in the dark by doctors.

Hello if they think it could be malignant they will take a biopsy if not they will observe see how it grows or if you develop others. I wouldn’t worry for now, talk to your doctor at a follow-up appointment xx
