Blood gas test

Hi, im 63 years old and i have copd. Please could anyone tell me what is classed as a normal blood gas reading. Told after blood test mine is 9 many thanks sue x

I was told yesterday that if it was less than 7 treatment was needed, less than 7.5 if you are a cardiac patient too. Mine was done from my ear and was 8.3, so the nurse was fairly happy, but she is not sure as I have very complicated heart problems. She is going to do it again in six weeks. She was quite surprised I had never had the wrist arterial blood gases done, so I expect that will be the next on the agenda! I should think 9 is okay but I am certainly no expert xx
