help please, to fill in attendance allowance form in.does cooking meals apply, and difficulty and needing help do you tick both boxes.
You migt want to get some help from a benefits expert either from Welfare Rights, CAB or DIAL or you could always speak to a benefits advisor tomorrow at BLF.
Good luck

The Citizens Advice Bureau helped my parents with their form. Or try Age Concern.
The BLF helpline , open during the working weeks and office hours .
03000 030 555 or helpline@blf.org.uk
I have found that all benefits forms seem to ask the same question in several different ways. You really would be better to get help as others suggest. Good luck xx
Hi r0yalalbert
The forms for benefit applications can be tricky to say the least.
I'd definitely go along with what others have already said - get some help with filling the form in - Age UK ( 0800 055 6112 ) or Citizens Advice ( citizensadvice.org.uk/ ) - both of these organisations have advisors who can help you fill the form in.
Or, if you'd like some general advice, you can ring our benefits advisor, Biddy, on 03000 030 555.
Best wishes,
Ben

thankyou
My experience of claiming attendance allowance was very positive. I claimed it on behalf of my mother, filled the form in truthfully and without exaggeration, and was delighted to be accepted for this. It was 20 years ago and no doubt things are different now.
Don't even attempt to do this without the help suggested by previous posters - it's a minefield.
I was getting a headache when mine came, someone told me Age UK would help, I contacted them and a lovely gentleman came out to see me, he has been doing it ever since.
All I do is sign it and give any new info.
Good luck and get help.
