They were doing the FORTE study about this when I was first dxd in 2000. I don't think the results were significant and Ive heard nothing since. Will google.

Retinoic acid (Vitamin A) and vitamin D3 turned around my Mum's COPD, she no longer huffed and puffed as she walked around. These vitamins are also helping turn around another lady's Emphysema, her test results have improved and her friends are saying she looks very well, I noticed that over the year or so she has been on the vitamins she no longer struggles to breath like she did before and to look at her now rushing around her home, you wouldn't guess she has emphysema. Maybe because we are all different, the vitamins work for some and not others ?

I just know it has adverse effect on asthma..told me the respiratory specialist..

Do you mean the retinoic acid (Vitamin A) has a bad effect on your asthma Happy London ?

Vitamin D3 has helped turn my Husband's asthma around, but last winter time it came back again, we realized there was no sun in winter so he took a higher dose of D3 and his asthma went away again. Though he always carries an inhaler as never say never. :)

D3 is excellent but A is to be avoided by Asthma sufferers.
