Welcome to the forum Ranv.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having such problems following your radiotherapy. I'm afraid I don't have any knowledge of airway collapse, but if you click on the Related Posts to the right of your post, you may find some information that will help. Also, typing 'Airway Collapse' in the Search British Lung Foundation box will bring up other older threads on the subject.

Even more useful, if you are in the UK I suggest you call the BLF Helpline tomorrow - 03000 030 555 office hours - where I'm sure you'll receive knowledgeable information and advice.

Best wishes, Annie

Thanks Annie. I'm going to see a respiratory nurse on Thursday...we both think it sounds like acute bronchospasm. It's frightening because an ambulance can take 45 minutes to get to me in rural Lincolnshire, so I'll be discussing self medication.

Best wishes.

Hello. The respiratory nurse thinks this is a problem with my larynx. I've had a look at ways to relax the larynx during spasm but will see the ENT Dr asap.

Thanks for your Support.
