Vaping or Nebulising ? - disgraceful ! ....

I have a large Nebuliser Device, and a small portable one which is very useful when out and about , WHEN " TAKEN SHORT" AS THEY SAY ! , .... As you probably know, when you use the small one , a small amount of " smoke " comes out of the machine between inhaling , if your not using the face mask, - but inhaling in the medication from the small pipe attached to the main body of the device , which is just as beneficial, - fair enough, but I occasioned to have a inhalation on my little device the other day in a restaurant , needless to say a little amount of " smoke " escaped into the air between inhaling, - an annoyed and ignorant fellow customer who had witnessed the " smoke " arising from this device came flying over to my table and shouted = " Er'e mate your not allowed to smoke using a Vaping machine in ere - its illegal - if you carry on , I'me going to call the Police " .....so I calmy said = " you call the Police - and I'll give you £100.00 quid if this is a Vaping machine , and you give me

£500. 00 if it isn't " ... with that , the Manager hearing this altercation came over and said " This is not a Vaping device but a medical one - my brother has one " - you should have seen the look on the bloke's face ! so I said to this enraged moron = " I take it , all bets are off ? , - I do sometimes put Heroin in it sometimes though " ! ....he stormed out of the place ! ....., so there you are folks we " Nebulisers" ! - must expect abit of flack when in public places - especially Restaurants "! -- MERRY NEBULISING CHRISTMAS ! ...

Have to stick up for yourself sometimes and you did a good job.

I am out for lunch tomorrow with family and can’t wait for someone to make unkind remarks if my daughter has to feed her son. The anti breastfeeding brigade make my blood boil!

Enjoy Christmas. Xxxxx

It's amazing how ignorant people can be isn't it! Good for you for saying something back. Perhaps you educated someone along the way!

sassy59 don't forget the equality act 2010 means its illegal to stop anyone breastfeeding in public....you're talking to a Professional Public Breastfeeder here, so I know, and I've fed my babies EVERYWHERE. I hope you have a lovely lunch and so does the new baby! 💕

It isn't ignorance. I had never heard of a nebulizer until I joined this forum and even then I had to google it.

The dictionary definition of ignorance is "lack of knowledge or information".

Yes but it is often used as an insult

On a bright note, when I used my little portable one when our 4 yr old grandson was around, he said "Nanny you look just like a dragon" because of the mist escaping. So sweet.
