Hello Ron, apply thin layer of Vaseline. cheaper than lip-balm. cheers

ADMIN EDIT - Vaseline should never be used near oxygen.

NO NO No you not allowed Vaseline when you on oxygen, it's petroleum jelly and likely to ignite.

Nivea original care lip balm is ok as it's water based and does the job

As long as it’s not petroleum based ie Vaseline you will be fine.

I use Blistex relief cream, the only thing that works for me.

Thanks for all your reply’s, I did know about not using Vaseline, but didn’t know if lip balm was petroleum based. Great response, thanks.

Yes only if water based you must not use anything with vaseline, petroleum jelly in it if using oxygen. Ask for advice at your chemist

RaspinRon. You cannot use Vaseline. However, Burts Bees do a lip balm which is not petroleum based.

Hi all, just to say I was told to use KY Jelly (at my age I did find it was embarrassing to buy it !!) But I am on O2 24/7 and it does work for very dry lips xx it feels a bit sticky but this goes away - try it !! xx
