Has anyone suffered from upper back, neck, shoulder pains and breathlessness after going for a walk or eating a meal (I don't eat too much and eat very slowly). I have got severe ephysema and know it's not muscular, as an inhahlor helps, but I normally end up having to lie down with a hot water bottle on my back.
Has anyone else suffered from this and do they know what might be causing it.
Hoping you can help.

Thanks for replying, I did mention it to the respiratory nurse and she seemed a bit concerned.
I don't always find my GPs very good, as they have told me my chest was clear and a few days later I was admitted to hospital for pneumonia - the tail end..
So did your asthma nurse not given you advice on what to do/or to be seen?
I have had pleurisy but never needed the hot water bottle. You could phone 111 and if you needed Urgent Care of A&E they I understand would make the appointments for you.
I'm not an expert but I get bad pain in between shoulders can sometimes in neck and also chest and I have GERD, have had for years but it got so bad I was terribly out of breath so had a CT scan and it showed dilated oesophagas, it's majorly worse after a meal but I sit with a hot water bottle a shame lying down makes it worse.
There's few things that give those symptoms though but it's just a thought.
I have Acid Reflux disease and Angina and the symptoms at times can mimic each other almost to being identical. In fat I had a barium Swallow two weeks ago and have to go back next week to ENT, they have found something maybe Hiatus Hernia.
I took anora ellipta for about 6 weeks and had dreadful burning pains in my stomach, so stopped. That its when a lot of my back and shoulder pane started. Hope it hasn't damaged me too much.
