Tests

I have just come home from the BRI. They did all the tests and my heart is in reasonable condition, thank goodness. They had brought the test forward from the 10th. Definitely have pulmonary hypertension caused by lung disease. Now I have to wait for an appointment to discuss it all . The care I had was excellent, they kept me in overnight because they thought 9 o'clock was much too late to be returned to wild Wales! Also they didn't think Peter would want to come out at that time of night. Never had that before, full marks for treatment of aged patient and even more aged spouse. They were quite concerned about my oxygen levels too, so they kept me on O2 for the night and considering it was a hospital I slept really well. Cataract surgery next week, and then we might have a week without hospitals! That would be nice. Love to all xx

I agree about us elders being well treated in hospital, I have nothing but praise for the way I have been looked after in several stays over the last 18 months and during 2 operations.

Delighted it all went well for you. I think the planned procedures are usually fine and where they can, staff usually give the very best treatment they can. Even with my experience in A&E, I was very impressed at how the staff held it together so well.
