Normal to have chest and back pain after a bronchoscopy?

Hello all I had a bronchoscopy done yesterday around 12 pm. And as the drugs wore off throughout the day I noticed more pain in my chest and back. And this morning as well. Is this normal? I fled the hospital. But they don't seem to have any answers. They paged my pulmonologist. But he is off this week I was told by his office the other day. So he may or may not call me back. I don't want to go to the ER if this is normal. They didn't see anything in there. So they didn't need to take a biopsy. They did take some fluids to test. But that's it. I have had some minor back and chest pains throughout the week. That have gotten a bit worse. But they seemed to think it was from stress. But this feels like something else entirely different. Hoping that it is normal to feel some pain after this procedure. I don't want to have to head back to the hospital if it's not necessary.

Thank you! Feeling somewhat better now. So I'm gonna try and get through the day. Hopefully it's just a bit of soreness.

I've never had any pain after mine and I've had a few. Had a sore throat and felt like a head cold for a few days but that's it

I had no pain after mine. This pain came on immediately after the procedure so it's presumably can't be infection. Sounds like it's getting better too. Really good news they didn't find anything.

Thank you! Feeling no pain in chest or back today. Very well may of been because of the stress and anxiety I've been under the last few weeks. Throat is still a bit tender. But that is about it.

I also had to have a tooth pulled yesterday. They said it was to far gone to save. But the dentist said that the infection was only in the tooth. But still could cause some fever and body aches. So with all the stress and that going on. May of played a part in it as well. It's been a crazy couple of years. But hopefully things are turning around for the better. Thank you all again for the replies. I pray you all the best with your health as well.
