The percentages for the none smoker's are higher than I thought and just go to show, it's not all about the cigarettes but more likely due to a genetic predisposition combined with being exposed to particular toxins.

Hopefully, it will change the mindset of those who think we "Brought it on ourselves."

Thank you for posting this. I wish that this would become general knowledge amongst the Nurses and Doctors on the chest wards. I am really fed up with being all but called a lair when I am admitted with bad infected exacerbations, and I tell them that I have never smoked.
