Hi

Has anyone been to Rio since being diagnosed? I have a wedding in November when it is supposed to be quite humid but I would very much like to go

Thanks

Hi......Rio is lovely , I was there the year before my official diagnosis. It's right on the coast ,

One side of Rio your on Cocacabana beach the other Ipanema beach ......excuse spelling.

Go enjoy yourself and don't worry. make sure you have your antibiotics with you,

,you never know what

you might pick up on the plane !!........(..we have same problems with cruises.)

,The only warning .......don't look in any jewellery shop windows. It's lovely stuff but

If you do they will be out and grab you. You have to then get out without spending a fortune .

Do go up to the Christ statue there's a fantastic view. You can't believe how big the statue is.
