hi all just had my latest scan results and they say I have a herniation of the left lung,i had a hospital app and they never said a word about it I found out in the usual letter any ideas should I be taking precautions

There are differing degrees of this condition. Also it can happen in different areas. Best advice would be discuss it with you GP. Without a lot of detail into size location etc I think it would be very hard safely give advice. So your GP would be the best option to see the full report. Obviously you are the same person now as when you had the scan. If it was not causing a problem then or now then perhaps it is not too much to worry about.
