Chest problems.

Hi. I've had a very bad cough since Jan. Took a boot load. If antibiotics. Had x-ray blood test. But still persistent. Just want go. It will clear up for a few days then comes back. But now finally after asking my doctor to send me to the chest clinic in the hospital is writing a referral thank God. About time too. So wear see what happens. I now a lot of people are in the same boat as thay say.

Hi Leters. Welcome to the forum. Coughs are not usually treated with antibiotics unless the underlying reason for the cough is some kind of infection or condition. I think further investigation is a good idea. Do you have a diagnosed lung condition?

No. Doctor gave asmer pump that can help a little bit some times. Antibiotics was not eney good. Had loads. Don't smoke or drink iv had this for last 7/8 years now but all ways went after a few weeks. But not this time keeps going and returning. Not bringing up eney blood only a bit of off white flem some times. But I do live very close to a motorway in fact about 50 yards from my front door. Lot of poltion I have to wash my car off most days with a layer of dust or what ever it is. My doctor said this doesn't help. But what can one do you just caurnt move. So hopefully will be attending chest clinic soon with a bit of luck. Iv been asking g my doctor to refer me for weeks now. So I really had to mire or less demand a referral.

Will do. Iv finally got my referral to the hospital so iv been told from the receptionist to day it's took forever you just got to keep on to them. We all now there very bizy but some times it's just so ridiculous.
