Hi I'm Sue , I was diagnosed with COPD two years ago and had to give up working , finding it difficult to keep positive at times, want to do so much , the mind is willing but the body isn't lol. Hope everyone is keeping as well as can be expected, I've got another chest infection, the 5th this year so far.

HI Sue my name is Debbie i know how your feeling in the last 6 mths iv had 2 collapsed lungs a VAT operation and a plurectomy and like you feel the same i used to be super fit and active and now cant even mow the garden without suffering and getting short of breath.I cant give you any medical advice but i have a good ear for listening and it helps sometimes to talk about things esp to people in similar situations i hope your feeling better soon and keep smiling all the best xx

Hi sue thanks for your reply yea its been the worst 6 mths ever but im not alone which i felt until i found this site/forum.You,ve had it rough and rotten these last few years hope your feeling better its hard to keep smiling and carry on when you feel so rubbish and breathing is so difficult when that should be the easiest thing in the world.xxx
Hi Sue and welcome, it is hard to stay positive sometimes but you will get there. I know the the feeling the mind is willing but the body says otherwise! Let's hope you get some respite from these pesky infections for a while. Take care and keep smiling. Xx

Hi I'm Cindy i have mild copd and mild asthma i already had fibromyalgia i was diagnosed about 3 months ago and sent home with an inhaler and feel realy cheesed off Iv gave up smoking so what happens next haven't been told a lot about copd I'm 58 years old and smoked since in my teenage years
