Hi I was diagnosed with cough related asthma 3 year ago I haven't had a really bad do for over a year . I have just had a chest infection which has exasperated my asthma and I'm coughing and wheezing a lot at the moment which is causing me to have a pain on my left side should I be worried xxx

Any chest pain is of concern and needs urgent investigation, it is probably just muscular but you need a GP to tell you that.

Agree with justso. I think you need to see your GP for possible treatment and some advice.. Are you on puffers and the right meds etc. It might be an idea to ring the BLF nurse as well.

hi your asthma nurse should advise you and recommend/possible cardio exerise (not extreme) which i have done for years as i am asthmic too but its help me and clear up my lungs so really need to see the asthma nusre//gp for advice
