That’s called ‘seagull power’. (With a few chips please)
This will be my last post. My campervan sailed through her MOT, had a service, been washed, filled with diesel, ready for off. Inside looks a bit like a chemist's shop. Hope you all keep as well as is possible. Bye.
Have a wonderful adventure Don really envy you nothing like hitching up and seeing where the fancy takes you Bamborough hexam annexe RIPON are where I hope to be able to go to again one day in the not to distant future best wishes to you and midge
Oh Don, Im so happy for you but very sad you won't be here any more. Ive loved what you've brought to the forum, enjoyed your brilliant and often very insightful verses, loved sparring with you in verse too Ive read most of them out to my partner and she's loved them too. I will miss you and wish you a wonderful trip. Good luck my dear and a cuddle for Midge jean
Bon Voyage Don, I envy you in some ways, to be able to just follow your nose without a care, that is true freedom. Take care of both yourself and Midge.
Morning Don, I hope I didn't seem insensitive with my comment, I obviously didn't know your situation. I don't know the circumstances of your loss, and don't want to pry. I do admire your fortitude and attitude, and genuinely hope you have a fantastic time and keep well on your travels.🚐 Drop in from time to time if you are able and let us know about your adventures, in verse, of course !!. Take care. X
Have a wonderful, leisurely trip, take care of yourself and midge and don't forget to come back and entertain us with your poems - we wish you well 👍🏻🐾🐾
Have a great time Don and see you when you return.
Hope you have a nice break in your little van travelling around, enjoy yourself ..... but don't forget us we will miss your daily verse , so come back safe and sound after your well deserved break xxxxx
Have a wonderful time ,and stay well . ....We have a small gull that has adopted us .
We call him Sid... He is a black headed gull. He flies and dives at any other gull that comes near the property ,, showing some great air acrobatics , and screeching at them .....to us theres just a gentle sound.
He came last year in all his juvenile feathers. He trots around the lawn and has even come into the patio. So far no mess from him......
How wonderful, I've only recently joined this forum and have read a couple of your poems, they are wonderful and make me smile. Enjoy your adventures and come back to us soo. And delight us with your travel stories 😀🚐🚐
I've missed something along the way - I didn't realise you were off travelling. You will be much missed, as will your poems. I do hope you will keep writing while you are away and let us have the benefit of a few rhymes on your return. Enjoy your trip! x Moy
Enjoy your travels Don. Hope you find some wifi along the way to share your adventures 😎. If you get as far as Oban watch out for one of our members who is setting off for her adventure today in a red VW camper van
Bon Vogage
PS funnily enough, whilst living by the sea in the south of France a couple of years ago the seagull were silent & I have to say it was bliss!
