Has anyone had a salt lamp,if so did it help with coughing .

No salt lamps. However one consultant did tell my hubby to buy a nebuliser and get to to prescribe saline solution for it. GP laughed and would not present five so we guesstimate the 0.9 per cent so!Ution.

It does help hubby but may not be for everyone.

I use a salt nebuliser ,I find it very affective .I have started using the salt lamp I find the light soothing and hope it's going to work with breathing.Thank you for your reply,this is all new to me .

Yes and my salt lamp actually causes me to cough and so I am unable to use. So with saline nebuliser reduces my ability to breathe by 23%. Lots o us suffering with COPD and such like get great benefit from salt in many forms but in my case it works against me. So beware and best of luck.

Hi There

I have a salt lamp and as pretty as it is cant say as I have felt any benefits from it, it does brighten my lounge I leave it on permanently. X
