If I can get my legs in better shape, then yes I would give it a go too, but not around here, too many hills on my side of Southampton and the pollution is often very bad. Give the girl a pat on the back from me, and I hope her effort inspires others.

At an average speed of 2.9 mph she worked her socks off, I know because I have done that speed and know what it feels like. I am in awe of her doing it for 26 miles. Now I know that it can be done..........the gauntlet has been thrown down.

I have energy to spare still, more than most seems, looking out across all the blocks of flats and ours is one of the very few with a light still on. I feel like

i could get there, so why not give it a go?

in reply to2greys

If you ever want to walk with me and my hubby just an amble along the hamble happy to pop across lol xx

Yes, that would be nice but my conversation is rather restricted whilst walking though, almost impossible.

in reply to2greys

There's no need for lots of conversations let us know when your ready and you can always bring the Mrs when it's one of her weekends off something to do and plan x

Amazing lady! Makes you want to get moving. She makes me realize how lazy I'm getting. Use it or lose it! Ruby 😊
