I have been reading a lot about the use of stem cells for COPD and I was wondering if anyone has had stem cell treatment and was it successfull.

Hi I saw a health bulletin on an American news channel about a doctor in New York who had a clinic for stem cell replacement for Copd. Not sure it's been passed in U.K. But maybe wrong

There is no evidence to suggest that stem cell treatment is effective for copd. The closest they have come in the lab is making mature lung cells regrow in animals but it is long way from being ready for human trials

Do not even consider this. It does not work. They will only take your money. I don't understand why this is allowed in the U.S. They are preying on sick desperate people.

Some do rip off but official trials in uk for heart are being successful.There are also PRP injections[ sports] for ligament damage .I would rather official research continuing using case studies i believe it has helped the MS sufferers too. Like the pressurised oxygen that system doesn't incvestigate as doesn't cure those with experience who take it regularly [ mainly MS sufferers] look well .

Do to the different laws in the US and different laws even in different states the alleged stem cell treatment can occur. The Laws in the UK are different unless the medical claims are proven then you cannot advertise nor carry out a procedure.
