What was the date of the information when you last heard of it?

couple of links dated Feb 2018:

medicalxpress.com/news/2018...

bronchiectasisnewstoday.com...

To check latest just put into google, " stem cell, bronchiectasis, UK 2018 or Aug 2018"

as mentioned they are dated Feb 2018. For updates you need to search using the title and current month and year to reveal anything more recent. There could be since last months search. Let us know if you find anything more.

Hi don't know if this is an update but I have been searching the world sites by email & phone and have found a number of clinics that perform this type of treatment in USA with a good number of results. There are very few hospitals that do it the UK, specialists that no longer take it on etc etc.

The USA have more experience of it and have performed a treatment on at least one of the members on this forum, successfully. Unfortunately you do need to pay for this service + fares + accommodation. The service cost in the region of $8,000 + expenses.

Other sites are in India, Thailand, Ukrain (but you may end up in Russia) they advertise however as if they are a Swiss company but they are not. Germany do it but it is difficult to find a clinic that does not specialise in cosmetic treatments.

Try "Trial" sites around the world inc UK they are out there.

Hi. Thanks for the advice re Swiss medicare. I had contacted them and they were naturally very interested in my condition. They talked about blood stem cells, but when i asked them about bone marrow stem cells the ongoing treatment u need at 3 and 6months i heard nothing more from them.

I know the lady who had thestem cell treatment on this site, but dont know if she continues to improve.

Hi thanks for response, see if you can make contact with the lady that has had stem cell treatment, see if she has improved? It's worth noting whether there has been progress. Some of my sources say that they have not seen an improvement.

It's all bit new yet and I don't think the "Experts" really know how to progress it.

Hi, the fellow broome who has been on this forum, had a stem cell treatment at a local USA clinic about 15 months ago. After 3 months he was feeling somewhat better but has now fallen back and says he is as bad as before the treatment. He no longer has any faith in stem cells generally, he's now very anti.
