I have copd and my pulmonologist wants me to do a catscan on my lungs. I had one done two years ago. isn't it odd that he wants another one done? I did have a nodule. I'm scared out of my mind.

Your specialist is just being careful. In reality he is just observing the area of the lung where you had the module. It's a routine follow up. Of course it's worrying but I would worry more if he did not do it.
It's not odd at all, just checking to see how things are, as he should. I have a lung nodule and have had two scans since October and another booked for September. This is the recommended way of dealing with them to see if the nodule has grown, if it has they will do something about it, if not they will leave it until your next scan. Be thankful you have a careful doctor and please try not to worry xx
I'm having a second scan just three months after the first. It's just the consultant being careful.
thank you all for your posts. I think ill be able to sleep now
Clearly your Consultant is being prudent to refer you for a 2nd scan.Giving you a clearer understanding and allowing your treatment /s to me tailored. So many people have nodules which sit in situ , causing No issues.Be reassured by being referred.Keep us all updated, sending you positive thoughts, 😄 .
