Have you been to see the doctor? They may be the best people to give you advice on what else you can do, or may be call the help line they are there during the day time. I t may be that you have an infection so need some treatment. Hope you feel better soon x

Go and see your GP and ask for a flutter valve it's a great little device and certainly helps bring all that nasty stuff up. Please try mot to worry. Keep posting and let us know how you get on 😊 xx Bernadette

I have just had the same problem but not for as long went to the doctor and was given Amoxicillan and steroids for a week, not better after 6 days so called my Pulmonary nurse who came out yesterday and suggested a further week on steroids plus a different antibiotic. So I started the new antibiotics at the same time as taking the first ones meaning yesterday I had a real double dose. First night last night where I was able to sleep without coughing and feel so much better this morning, so go and talk to your doctor and get the help you need.

If your chest is tight use a vaporizer with eucalyptus oil, must stay in doors though, you could catch pneumonia going outside as your pores are opened by the steam vapors.

If its just your throat and a tickle that wont go away, a cold air diffuser with eucalyptus oil and breathe it in, another old fashioned remedy is honey mixed with peppermint oil or extract, make little drops on wax paper and freeze, pop in your mouth so refreshing or put on a spoon and lick like a loli pop. If you prefer spearmint or even eucalyptus any is good but must be kept frozen that is the key.
