Went to appointment yesterday with Alan results for 3 yearly final ct scan on nodule everything fine it had calcified. Took a list of all the symptons Alan is suffering from. Severe constipation . Uti.s .which I mentioned on my last post which resulted in a blue light am ambulance to hospital. Thrush Lpr and Glaucoma which as just been lasered, We saw a new Consultant who had looked through all his hospital appointments. Straight away she said to stop the Spiriva. It should have been stopped on the kind of glaucoma that Alan had it was known to aggreviate it. On looking through the rest of his ailments she said he was very unlucky but the where all side effects of Spiriva. So not replacing Spiriva to use nebuliser more. Fingers crossed he can manage without it.Anyone else suffer with all these symptoms. Rambling again Sorry.

I have high eye pressure, my mother had glaucoma, and I was advised by a nurse to close my eyes, and she did give me a pair of special glasses to wear , to help stop my nebulised medication getting into my eyes.

This was using a mask.....I now use a mouthpiece with my small pocket emergency nebuliser.

Can you ask your health professional for advice

Hi. The consultant said it was something in the ingredient of Spiriva that causes it. When I have looked up side effects on Spiriva all Alans symptoms come up.He is just unlucky that he as most of them. Regards
