Raising one's spirit

Is what we want to do.

Makes everyone feel better,

But how?.. I'll give a clue.

You need a glass or tumbler

And a bottle partly filled,

With a liquid made in Scotland

Where it's lovingly distilled.

Pour a little liquid

In the glass you have prepared.

Lifting it to take a sip

Is the expression you've just heard. Hic!

Perhaps a cup of tea would be better ;-)
