Hi channel I went to bed at midnight back down stairs by2 been like this since December it is hell hope you manage to get some rest .IThis oxygen is not helping me sleep

Hi Channell it sounds like you are having a few problems getting a decent nights sleep. Do you take your steroids first thing in the morning? If not you may find this helps.

I too am on steroids and it does play havoc with my sleep pattern. Often I am up during the night unable to sleep but more often than not I manage to catch up on any lost sleep over the next couple of days.

Everyone, including doctors, says take them first thing in the morning! When I was on 30mg prednisolone for four months for the first few weeks I took them in the morning and I was still awake at 4am. And I didn't feel particularly tired during the days! Then I gradually took them an hour or so later each day so that I was then taking them at bedtime. I then got to sleep and stayed asleep easily. If you still have trouble sleeping the doctor or chemist may be able to suggest something to help.
