Have you tried a warm shower, or a hot drink that might help. Keep hydrated too.
Be careful though not to force yourself to cough too much especially if you can't hear any wheezy mucus. ...don't want to cause any damage! Don't force it if there is no more mucus than normal.
A blood test could show if you have an infection somewhere,
The infection is in my lung we know this already but need sample as doc underdosed antibiotics n it became resistant. Dunno what am gonna do. It's making me feel awful.
What is your diagnosis WLDC? If you can get hold of a flutter device - doctors sometimes prescribe them - that might help bring up some mucus. Active cycle of breathing can help, and huffing is a gentler way compared with coughing which will bring up mucus. There are "how to" youtubes on ACB and huffing (which is also used in ACB).
Doesn't feel like mucus there but awful pain n tightness in lung there's bacteria in there but my lungs not producing mucus with it. And feel awful unwell think I'll have to ask for bronchoscopy at this stage.
If theres any sputum there, maybe using a flutter or acapella would help, they are aids you breathe through and that vibrates the airways and loosens any mucus. Might be worth a try, In UK Dr can prescribe acapella, not sure on the flutter. Milk increases mucus for some people. Steam vapour. Not sure of other things, but hope you do find something to work for you.
