Hello gingercracker

I have Asthma and COPD.

Many things..triggers...start me off with all your symptoms.

You have to try and narrow down what things make your symptoms worst

I try to avoid things that start me off , where possible.

I don't use air fresheners and perfumed candles in the house....l keep our bedroom cooler, when the heating is on.

I have inhales and Carbocisteine which help to thin the mucus.

I never go anywhere without a bottle of water.

There are various inhalers...if yours aren't helping, see your GP, and try a different one.

Make sure you always rinse your mouth out and gargle after your inhalers as you can get oral thrush from some...and that makes you cough.

Good luck

xx

Yep - I reckon there's something (virus?) doing the rounds... and off course if you've already got respiratory issues, it'll be worse. This is the second heavy cold I've had in 6 weeks - bummer... drowning in mucus - on rescue pack preds at mo.

Get it checked in any case - & maybe increase your inhalers if you're confident & have to wait for GP, or seek a telephone/appointment with respiratory nurse?

hello I have asked for advice before ,as I have had my tests & it seems I have slight CODP & not asthma so doctor changed my inhaler to Spiolto respimat ,but my cough & wheeze continues more as soon as I take this , tho easy breathe which is for asthma helps , im so confused , but think I will stop this new inhaler , have any of you had these problems at first thank you .....
