Hi everyone, looking for advice please. Has anyone out there managed to get reasonably priced holiday insurance? I hope to travel to Tenerife for 10 days in January and have Sarcoidosis, bronchiectasis, osteoporosis & on oxygen 24/7 1-2 lpm. Quotes so far £1300 upwards, some wouldn't even quote. Many thanks.

Try Insurancewith.com, they cover lots of medical conditions - you can start your quote online but may have to ring them at some point. I had similar experience to you, quotes way too high and some wouldn't cover me at all (different problems to you), Insurancewith covered me for £87 for a 2 week holiday in Europe. Good luck. x
Try allclear on line or by phone I was quoted up to £2,000 by many conpanies and got the same policy with them for £58!
Hi Mosco, have a look at 'Travel Insurance' in the Pinned Posts to the right. There are many suggestions there. I found the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) extremely helpful - biba.org.uk/find-insurance/ - or call 0370 950 1790.
I hope you are successful in finding a company who will insure you at a reasonable price.
Good luck!

Hi Mosco, if you can give the BLF Helpline a ring ( 03000 030 555 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri ) we have a list of travel insurance companies that we would be happy to send over to you.
Best wishes,
Ben
Hi Mosco, I use Able2travel. They are not cheap, an annual policy for myself and husband is £380, however, a one off for single holiday is almost as much. If you travel during the year, both home and abroad it is worth taking out the annual policy. Good luck, Enjoy Tenerife. Maximonkey
