Hi gmac, your doctor is being a pain and needs a good shake. I would try the Pharmacist or out of hours fovtor for your Fostair. Hope you get things sorted soon. Xxxxx
hi geo if you run out of medication at weekend go to your normal chemist and they will give it to you and you take prescription to them on monday
Last resort, go to A&E googeymac. It's standard practice to have an emergency pack at home (steroids and ABs) and your doctor should enable this. Re your regular meds like Fostair some surgeries insist on only giving you one month's supply so write a note in your diary/calendar to remind yourself to reorder - Ive run out myself and I know just how stressful it is.
Hi I have on occasion run out of stuff at the weekend and I go to my usual chemists with a sheepish look on my face and apologise. The pharmacist is great and will give me some to tide me over. Make sure the chemist is one you use for your meds. x

My last chemist did that. When I forgot to order inhalers and other medication they would loan me the thing I wanted. But the chemist I use now will not do that. So when I order repeat prescriptions. And pick it up I just ask for the same thing in either a month to 2 months depending on how many I get. And they text me when it is ready .
my local chemist wont supply with out a doctor's signature
Won't they even give you a little bit just to tide you over until your next prescription is due? After all they have proof that this is on a repeat prescription. x
Hi googeymac1, walk ins are another option. Most chemists are obliging shame about yours.
