Hi, new here, my husband suffers with this horrible disease. I have been thinking of buying an air purifier but don't want to either waste money or buy the wrong sort, and advice would be welcome.
Thanks in anticipation

Hi, I bought two air purifiers, used every day for about a couple of hours. One is a small extractor for the bedroom and the other is a home medics for the living area. Both have filters.
Your question of do they work - I can only say that I am trying to keep the home environment as clean as possible and the filter does show upon changing, dirt from the air.
Regards JP
Hi. I have purifiers in most of my rooms. I have brittle asthma and my husband has pulmonary fibrosis. I have the vax one that has a wave front and they are great. They have 3 settings and not to loud unless you have them on high. In the summer they kept rooms dust free and helped to keep them cool. Would recommend them. I know a lot of people on here has dysons. The valid 99.99. Best wishes 😊
Hi,
I bought a Dyson earlier in the year. Mega expensive at £450 but very quiet and doesn't disturb our sleep. I'm very pleased with it.
I think some of the air conditioning units also have a purifying filter. X
I tried a Dyson & took it back, just didn't work for me.Now have a Bionaire which I have found really good especially when there was a lot of pollen & summer dust about. It also has an Ioniser.Cost around £150.May be worth a look, good luck.
