New poll

Morning all,

As you might see, I've added a new poll on the front page to gather figures on exercise classes in local areas.

If you could have a quick look and select one of the options (if appropriate to you), this would be much appreciated.

BLF are looking to apply to the national lottery for funding to set-up BLF Active exercise classes. We are interested to know if you attend any formal exercise class on a long-term regular basis?

Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below what you currently do and if you’d like more activities available in your local area.

Thanks everyone!

Ben.

Hi Bilko952,

Thanks for letting me know about the problem with the voting button - I'll see if I can get that fixed!

At the moment I am doing PR after waiting over two years for a place. Loving it. Told I am the fittest in the group. [flatterers] I would love to have a group to continue as I feel I need the motivation to set aside the time and use it properly. Live in west Cornwall.

I agree with kernowdame . I too have done Pulmonary Rehabilitation exercise classes for people with lung conditions. Ordinary exercise classes are too strenuous for me (on 4L/min oxygen), but would be so grateful if a regular class similar to PR was available. I also agree that I could do the exercises at home (although I don't have a static bicycle or walking machine) but even though I keep promising myself to do them, I am not regular. A class would also be good for getting out and meeting people! The exercises, do make the breathing much easier! I live in South Buckinghamshire.

Your questionnaire "do you go to a class" is a bit too simple perhaps.

Not what you're looking for?
