How many spirometry test have you had since being diagnosed with copd.

Hi being dx with COPD in 2006. Ihave had the usual yearly one plus every time I go to see the consultant at the respiratory clinic to many to count.

I've only had one and that was in 2014.

That's not right you should have a yearly review. You have that done at your GP. When were you dx with COPD

I was dx in 2014

I was dx about 8 years ago and have had around 3/4. I don't get them every year. x

Petejh 3just had one last month for the results to be sent to a treatment center to be evaluated

1 test e/year so far.

I have had three including the original diagnosis one, so that is over three years.

I was diagnosed in September last year, since then I've had 2 tests and 2 ct scans, I'm due another begining of November when I next see consultant. I was told by him that this would give him an idea of how quickly it was progressing. Though my diagnosis is pulmonary fibrosis caused by rheumatoid nodules and scaring tissue so I don't know if that makes it different from copd. Take care Linda

Only when I was diagnosed three years ago , when I was told I had COPD as well as asthma.At my last review I was told the test couldn't be carried out as I had taken my preventer beforehand.

Petejh I was DX in 2012 and I've had 2 Spiro tests last one in 2014 I ask her then when was my next one the nurse said every 18 months so I'm due another one soon fingers crossed .

I have one every 6 months with the nurse at the GP practice, so 8 since diagnosis. I am now told to take all inhalers as I wish and arrive in "best state".

Hi ,I average 3 a year .1 full lung function test as requested by consultant ,one spirometer test with asthma nurse at health centre,and one with specialist senior nurse ,,, plus others if needed after a chest infection ,

I have one a year apart from 2 years ago I had 7 chest infections so had 2 tests done

4 each year of full PFT's until satisfied that I am relatively stable. Now annual.

Hi I have one every year with my annual check up with the respitery nurse at my gp's .

One every year for 11 years

One every year. I am on Spiriva 18 micrograms plus Salamol Easi-Breath.
