On Holiday

Me wife and two boys arrived in Brittany France 2 days ago, hasn't stopped raining, think we brought out Scottish weather here ahhhhhh.

Sorry to hear this; it has rained for most of the day here. Strangely, we had quite good weather in Northumberland last week but I understand it rained a lot in Lincolnshire. I hope it clears up for you soon.

I look in every week to keep me updated, all is well apart from the weather here in France, been raining all during the night again. Feel sorry for the families with very young kids stuck here with nothing to do but wait for sunshine.

I recognise that particular site from the photo, we have stayed there twice and it's absolutely lovely. Last time we went (2014), it was hot in the UK whilst it rained day and night in France.

The submarine and WW2 naval base at Lorient are good for a rainy day. Hope the sun puts in an appearance soon. Best wishes. Clare

The resort is lovely but shocking weather, back home next week but already booking up for a week in Benidorm October.

I love France too. Until my RA and lung condition worsened our plan was to retire to southern Brittany.
