measuring sats

hi i read about people measuring their sats how is this done ive never been told about this x

All it means is the level of oxygen saturation in your blood. You have probably had this measured by someone using a finger/pulse oximeter? They can be purchased quite cheaply on ebay and are easy to learn to use. Many people on oxygen use them to check their oxygen saturation (sats).

I bought one from Amazon. I am not on oxygen. And use it when I have an exacerbation to monitor my o2 level and pulse x

Hi binlid, I like to keep a record of my sats so i can see if things are deteriorating. Use Sp02, temperature, pulse, spirometer & blood pressure. All link to PC so i get to know my "normal". Probably a bit OTT but keeps me out of mischief!
