Great post JAS and you are so right to post it. I am looking after my grandson for a short while because he is not going to pre school this afternoon as two cases of scarlet fever have been reported. Jack is having his tonsils out next Wednesday so has to stay infection free. Xxx

I had this as a child; in hospital couple of months & penicillin thigh injections every 6 hours. Horrid . Are you a reborn.Daz? X

I had it back in the 60's and barely felt ill. Red and peeling skin but nothing else to bother me. Worst thing, it was in the middle of the school holidays, and I had to be quarantined indoors for 10 days. Wasn't happy because I had to miss the local fair.
